Diet Power Daily Allowance (DPDA)


Diet Power's estimate of your daily requirement for a nutrient, based on review of scientific literature. The program uses this estimate for 13 nutrients. Twelve are those for which the Food and Nutrition Board has not set a Recommended Dietary Allowance or an Adequate Intake: alcohol, calories, cholesterol, monounsaturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, potassium, saturated fat, sugars, total fat, sodium, total carbohydrate, and water. The other is protein.
